Youth Learn-to-swim

We are passionate about teaching beginner swimming because it’s a chance to make a lasting impact at the most foundational level. Watching someone go from fear or uncertainty in the water to confidence and control is incredibly rewarding. We want to give people the tools to enjoy and feel safe in the water for the rest of their lives!

Prerequisite

No experience necessary. A beginner swimming course is designed to introduce individuals with little to no swimming experience to essential water safety skills and basic swimming techniques. The lessons typically covers the following aspects:

  • Water Familiarization: Participants will become comfortable in the water through various activities, helping them overcome any fear or hesitation.
  • Floating Techniques: Learn basic floating positions to build confidence in the water and understand buoyancy.
  • Breath Control: Focus on breath control techniques, including rhythmic breathing and submersion, to improve comfort while in the water
